What is the
structure
of this new organisation?
The Institut pour la Ville en Mouvement
(“City on the Move” ) is a “Loi 1901” (not-for-profit) organisation. It is
presided over by Jean-Martin Folz, president of PSA Peugeot Citroën. Xavier
Fels, director of external relations at PSA Peugeot Citroën, is the
organisation’s secretary general. François Ascher, a professor at the French
Institute of Urban Planning, is chairman of the
organisation’s
research and steering
committee,
which is composed of around twenty French and international figures.
Together, they represent a wide span of professional expertise, and are in
close contact with the realities of the city. They are researchers,
developers, people responsible for the development of social projects, heads
of companies. This plurality guarantees a diversity of approach and
viewpoints.
